The traditional role of the human-machine interface (HMI) or operator interface (OI) in process control applications has been to simply display information from the process instrumentation and control system on a screen, and convey the operator’s keystrokes, clicks or touches to the appropriate external hardware for execution. Though it may be configured and endowed with powerful software that eases and speeds those basic tasks, the HMI itself adds little value beyond a pretty picture and reliable means of operator input.

July 6, 2016 - Pro-face America Announces the GP4100T Color Compact HMI. The Pro-face GP4100 Series compact operator interface offers a crisp, clear and bright, LCD Display, available in monochrome or color with Analog Touch Panel for improved visibility and precise part placement. The monochrome option comes equipped with energy efficient, maintenance free Green/Orange/Red or White/Pink/Red LED backlights.
The TFT color GP4100T is available with Ethernet or Serial Port options. Easy migration from the monochrome version using a panel adaptor.

June 30, 2016 - Pro-face America announces the updated certification of the LT4000M HMI + Control modular series. This series now has a marine standard rating of DNV GL. All part numbers in this series now carry this certification and can be used in the environments specified.
